According to local lore, Church Street was built at the expense of the resting spirits who were buried in the church graveyard it now covers. A nun and a woman dressed in period clothing are among the spirits who have been spotted.

  • Stayed Inside the Church

    I am on a school service trip my group is boarding within the church. I’ve been awake since 4:30am and decided to head to the kitchen around 6am to make breakfast. I found paper plates on the floor but can’t explain how they got there in the middle of the hall. I picked them up and proceeded to the kitchen. I was recording a video about it when a gallon of water fell from on top of the fridge next to me. A quick google search is how I now know that this place may be haunted.

  • Ghost in the window of the Methodist church on church st Asheville nc

    We took the tour & I was just snapping pics of the old church as the tour guide was telling us the history & the encounters abt the ghost seen at this church on sundays ..... which just so happened it was on a sunday night when we took the tour btw the day b4 memorial day 2022 , anyways I didn't know what I got on my phone till we got back to our motel room & we were flipping though the pics I got 4 different pics of what appears to be a ghostly figure standing in the window then in another pic of the same shot it was further out of the window u can make out a face & top boby part if zoomed in then at the same church but at the other end of the church I caught another figured in two more pics..... if I had away to put the pics up I would they r awsome pics
