THE haunted house to go to

Went two years in a row now was an amazing experience. I went for their Axemas because no where does haunted house for Christmas then for Halloween. The workers are really cool and they don’t just scare the hell out of you but make you laugh too. I plan on going back for the other events coming up in the following months i highly recommend this to anyone who wants a really awesome haunted attraction.

My wife and I love Pinheads. They are an amazing staff. They love their customers and stand out above the rest. We always have fun going to the different events they have. We get hyped when we have a chance to see what's new at each event we go to. They are our favorite scare team. If you love the chance to go to a haunted house before and after Halloween this is the place to go. They have 5 opportunities to come meet the team through the year: Prom Night Party, Easter Egg Hunt and Haunt, Summer Fun in the Sun, Slasher House and Merry Axemas. You even have an opportunity to meet different celebrities from your favorite scary movies. Come out and have a hell of a time.

They are so awesome. I love that they set themselves above the rest. They love their customers. They know their regulars. They make walking through the haunted house scary, fun, and exciting. My husband and I go to a lot of their events they have. We get hyped about being able to see the different things they do each time we visit.

The GOATs

This house was new for us and we loved the theme of the OG and newer GOATs. The production value on each set was very good, and really did mimic the set on the movie. it was kind of like watching five or six mini movies at once, and getting scared along the way. I would recommend if the lines not too long to give this one a try it was worth the wait for us which was about 30 minutes. Fun attractions while you wait like chainsaw dude in the street and Mike Myers, and Cool appearance by pinhead.

Awesome experience. My little brother was scared at his first haunted house, which made it so fun for me. Totally worth the extra $5 to get the “touch” glow sticks.

Email Verified Pinhead's was a scary good time!

We visited Pinhead's on Friday the 13th. It was our first time going and it was absolutely amazing. We were able to meet Max Laferriere and get an autographed picture. The actors were phenomenal. Being a horror movie fanatic they made it feel like I was Laurie Strode trying to escape Michael! Staring in my favorite slasher is always a win. We were able to take pictures with several of the actors inside as well. Otis is now a house favorite!🖤 Will definitely be back for the Axemas event!

This was my first time going to a haunted house. It was awesome! The location was insane the place is creepy and just feels spooky and haunted just walking up to it. And once inside I was not disappointed at all. The staff was amazing. Ottis is running around talking to people and taking pictures with people it was awesome meeting him. He made everyone feel welcome. The people working up front was friendly and they ended up watching my nephew as he didn't want to go though the house. Ottis also gave him snacks. They had Matt from scream 6 there. That was awesome meeting him and getting his autograph. Once inside the haunted house itself it was great. The actors and jump scares was on point you never knew what was next. The actors was very good they all played there part very well but also respectfully. They all interacted with our group in a way that made it seem real. The whole experience was awesome. I could go on and on about how great this was. I will definitely be back again. Thank you to all at the Pinheads Graveyard. Keep up the great work! You guys are awesome.

pinheads is a 10/10

pinheads is a great place to go if your looking for a scare or even just want to go because of the characters they have, i have to say art the clown from terrifier is my favorite. The night i went i also got to talk to max laferriere from scream 6 he was such a nice guy. and if you want to see all the original scary killers i recommend it

Email Verified Big Hype—Low Quality

Long wait (1 hour and 47 minutes to be exact). Attraction itself was less than 15 minutes long, walking normal speed. (I timed on my stopwatch start to finish.) I’m ranking solely on the overall value here. I’m sure these are great people who run this, but most of the haunt felt very amateur and unfinished. A lot of black plastic hung up and very limited on any actual scares. They solicit 5 star reviews to be entered to win merch at the BEGINNING of the haunt, so a lot of these reviews you see are bogus as they are made prior to actually going through the haunt. Hopefully they will use constructive criticism and improve themselves over time. As of 2023, I wouldn’t recommend this haunt.

We’ve been going to Pinheads for a little while now, and apparently I’ve never done a review! I simply cannot say enough good words about this place, or I could but it would be way too long! We visit and review haunted houses throughout the year and had the pleasure of coming to Pinheads a couple years ago. They are now on our regular list and we visit as much as we can! When I say that the people here truly love what they do, that may still be an understatement! We have never had a time where we left unhappy, and always look forward to our visits! By far some of the best actors and staff I have met, and we are honored to be able to attend as much as we do! We talk about this place all the time and I would 100% recommend to all!

Best NC Haunt — EVER!

This was my 3rd time at Pinhead's. I can confidently say that I will have to be visiting more often. It's so fun seeing all of the horror movie characters that we love, and being able to talk and interact with them. Every actor goes above and beyond to make sure everyone has a fantastic experience and it's greatly appreciated. My whole group paid extra for touching, and when a friend requested that an actor be more gentle, they obliged and apologized, which was GREATLY appreciated. I've never had a bad experience with this crew! Everyone is so kind and fun. It's a goofy kind of haunt that's fun for people of ALL ages. I know most people complain that it's pricey but I've watched these guys upgrade themselves and their work — it was well worth the money! We WILL be back, hopefully this season, for sure. This is a MUST VISIT every season, every year.

Amazing nc haunted house

Amazing haunted house so interactive you get to take pictures with most of the actors and at the very beginning. the owner is so nice and there all very accommodating for people with injuries as well

I had a great time! I'm not huge into the horror genre but these guys opened my eyes and made it fun and exciting! The whole staff was wonderful and enjoyable! Took a group including all of my kids and had a great time. Waiting in line wasn’t a chore when there were so many actors to watch and listening to the scream’s just built up anticipation even more. Inside, the rooms were great and the actors were all into their characters. This was my second year going and i definitely plan to go back next year!!

Pinheads Graveyard is awesome!!

What a blast!! We've never been to Pinhead's Graveyard until tonight. Great production overall! Got to meet R.A. Mihailoff(aka Leatherface!!!!) . The characters were so good too! If horror movies are your thing and you love a great haunted house then you've got to check this place out!

Went to Pinheads and took my daughter and all her friends and we had an absolute blast!!! I've been going since they were in Candler behind Waffle house but this was only the 2nd time my daughter went (she was the infamous puker last year) but we absolutely LOVE Pinheads and they never disappoint! The costumes, the acting, the sets all top notch! Thanks for the fun night guys y'all are awesome ! We love you Otis!

I absolutely love Pinheads graveyard! Everyone that works there is amazing! The building is horrifically done and it is so fun! Excellent experience. Loads of fun!!

My partner and I visit this one every year. All of the greats are there!! Pinhead greets you and forebodes a warning before entering the house. Then you wander through a maze of set pieces from classic horror franchises. Freddy, Jason, the Strangers, Leatherface, Jigsaw, and Art among others (looking at you Otis!!) all have their rooms and interact with the guests to scare you!! Additionally you can buy a glowstick that allows the actors to touch you if you want an extra jump scare or two. Great experience for all ages. Bring an appropriate attitude. The actors love spooking guests so leave the tough guy act at home because you'll have way more fun if you take your time through the attractions and let yourself be scared!! 💖

This was an incredible experience. Nothing like meeting ALL of your favorite slashers in one place! I recommend going slightly early, around 645, so you can meet all of the characters as they mingle with the line of guests, scaring, interacting, and taking pics. All of the costumes are very well done, and the acting is really good. When you get inside it is fully immersive experience and the sets and scenes are amazing! Going with a group that truly wants to appreciate all things classic horror is a must, as the actors love it and will give you their absolute best performances. My neice was proposed to by the Terrifier in his diner booth, Otis and Baby took pics with me and my husband with a gun to my head and a knife at his junk... that might be my favorite pic of us ever and will definitely be our Christmas card this year. I was truly disappointed that Leslie Vernon was out with the flu, but it just means we get to go back when he's feeling better. We missed you, Leslie! Congrats on joining the ranks of your role models!See you again soon!-Jessica, Andy, Krystle, both Lillys, Chloe, and Kiah.

Pinheads graveyard nc awesome

we had a blast . all the people was outside entertaining us while we waited for "otis" to get his hair outta curlers 😂 . the actors took my daughters phone while she was face timing a friend .and was asking why they was not there ( was at the beach told him to bring them sum sand and shells ) then they ran with the phone Playing pass the phone to each actor 🤣.the John Wayne gravy clown was the one that started it ,so funny and awesome .I highly recommend that you pay the extra $5 for the actors to be able to touch you .they took both my daughter and her friend bunch of times .they play along with everything. and when you least expect them to be In one spot ..don't cause they come outta no where .even tho you just seen them they gonna be right at the next corner . and don't even get me started on pinhead and Otis and pighead man . they where awesome. talking shit to each other though the doors and walls .even got my daughter to relay message about who was the prettier.and that just was just hilarious in a whole nother aspect .also the chainsaw ppl at the end are pretty damn fast ! run !!!! and when you think your safe .uh nope don't blink cause they gonna be right there .

The haunt is a great, tightly wound series of well crafted spooks and scares featuring actors who really sell every scene. Thrilling attraction!

Me and my friends went on a double date to go to this haunted house. We had so much fun standing in line and watching the characters come out and come to life and try to scare you. We also enjoyed watching the kid in our group get touched and carried by everyone and also getting his hat taken and returned to him. Very memorable and worth it!

Great actors at Pinheads Graveyard

It's an amazing place to go for a great time for a Halloween scare. They did get me a little bit, and I never get scared about things. The actors and actresses were very good, They went out of their way to make you laugh and a good jump scared to make you pee your pants like Freddy little b****. just great reviews here. They should do a theme with Freddy Vs Vecna. Two perverts in your dreams. 5 Stars. 🎃🎃🎃

I absolutely loved Pinheads!! I've been obsessed with horror movies since I was a little girl, my favorite movie when I was six was jeepers kreepers. Michael Myers is my favorite horror character of all time, I wish I could have gotta a picture with him. All the details put into Pinheads is just beyond amazing! Loved seeing Leatherface at the end!! Will definitely be going more.

I have always loved the dark scary things in life and I really and truly enjoyed Pinheads Graveyard. It was my first time ever going and I would gladly go over and over. I really loved Freddy Krueger and Michael Myers (He's my fav) I wish I could have gotten a picture with him! Leather face at the end was awesome!! I love those movies!! I would leave a higher rating if given the ability to! Awesome experience!!!

Amazing Experience!

I highly recommend this attraction! I have been coming here with my family for years and they are spot on with the Characters they are playing. Must see Haunt

Pinheads graveyard this year is by far the best year yet. The staff they have on site are so nice. The ladies at front did a remarkable job at keeping the lines moving and crowd control. Pinhead himself came out and spoke and I was so happy I got to see him. The place is full of entertainment from movies to some jump scares. The best entertainment there was the battle between Freddy and Otis. Otis you the man!

Haunted house

Pinheads graveyard is is the best one . Ever been and i’ve been to a lot of haunted houses. Everybody’s is professional I’ve been your characters. My favorite character of all. But my favorite character is Jason . I think they should Do a Michael Myers versus Jason scene. Pinhead is very good at is Role and Otis and Freddy are super funny . But shout out to reaper, nun, the ring girl , ark, The exorcist, Micheal Myers , hatchet, saw, pennywise, jeepers creepers, leather face, Chuckie, Otis and baby . You all make pinhead graveyard slasher house. Phenomenal. I will come every year when it opens aging. 🙌🙌

Scary!!!!

Pinheads graveyard has so much history in Canton. And this year being in a new place, they did not disappoint. My entire group was entertained from start to finish. Our experience started off with professional staff up front to getting a show from all the characters and ended with tons of laughter with watching people get chased and yelled at by Otice at the window.

Finally got around to taking my children here last night, they have been begging me for years. They had a blast. The people running the event were super nice and put us in a group that had other smaller children. The characters went out of there way to make the experience enjoyable and even backed off when my daughter started to get extremely scared. So thank you and kudos for scaring, but not absolutely terrifying my children. We will be back!

My family and I have been going to Pinhead's ever since they were behind the Waffle House and we have to say that it gets better each and every year. Awesome Experience

Entertaining haunt. Great sets, innovative scares, and props. Free parking was a bonus. The indoor and outdoor maze had few jump scares. The nun in the maze scared the crap out of us. Love this place!

My family goes every year more than once and we always take friends. It's scary but I have noticed that they tone it down a bit when small children go through. This one was very popular amongst our family and we make sure to pay a visit regularly. The walk was eventful throughout the graveyard. Not surprisingly this is one of the oldest around and we could feel the experience written all over the place. The crowd was managed well and the place was maintained neatly. It was hassle free and did not had to wait anywhere. The scares were mix of old school and the latest. It is getting better year after year. The actors show enthusiasm till the end and you could feel the scare till you hit the bed. Nice way to end your Halloween.

Go no matter what!

The haunted trail was so much fun and not a whole lot of physical effort is required! I went as someone who recognized most of the characters and lived through some the terrifying experiences I thought were just in the movies. The folks I went with did know all but one or two of the villains and they were just as scared as me!

Well choreographed

Pinhead’s has some great scares that took my breath away. The scares were well choreographed and timed to perfection. It was also one of those haunts were specific scare characters dominated the proceedings. Jeepers Creepers and Michel Myers virtually freaked me out. The sets and special effects were impressive. Drove about 2 hrs to reach Pinhead’s. It was worth the money and time. It featured all of the characters from different horror movies – jeepers creepers, freddy, otis and countless others. The scares came from all sides. There was not even a single dull moment. She was screaming non-stop at times. We’d exited the haunt with our hearts pounding out of our chests.

Love the idea of an outdoor haunted experience. One of the best haunted venues with surprises and stories throughout the entire walk through Pinhead's Graveyard. Very authentic costumes, sounds, and acting. Planning on making this a yearly event.Meeting R.A. Mihailoff (Leatherface in Texas Chainsaw Massacre 3) was a great added bonus!! While I was in town, a friend suggested we should hit up Pinhead’s Graveyard. I’m not the type to scare easy, but I have to say Pinhead’s definitely kept me on my toes and kept me jumping. My wife would not let go of my arm and screamed almost the entire time. This place is awesome. I will no doubt be back next year, if I’m in town. I highly recommend Pinhead’s Graveyard!

I have been going to Pinheads for the last 6 years and every year when I think it cannot possibly get better, it does! The volunteers are some of the best and the operators are even more incredible. Anyone who has been to Pinheads is sure to go again and it’s not uncommon for people (myself included) to travel a very long distance just to experience the awesomeness that is Pinheads! Email Verified Pinhead’s Gives Me Chills

The first time I ever went to Pinheads was with my parents. We loved it then, and that was several years ago. Went again last week and I can’t even begin to describe how terrifying it was. A friend of mine works there regularly and she made it especially terrifying by dropping my name to all of the characters. I got called out (repeatedly and more blood-chillingly each time), chased (with chainsaws and what appeared to be a machete), followed (at alarmingly close proximity) and my friends that visited with me loved it almost more than I did. It was so much fun and I love the scares that came out of it this year around! The folks that run it are so accommodating and definitely know how to get your blood pumping. Can’t wait to go again soon! -SS

Went to pinheads Saturday night an omg so many people lined up it was great what a group they are so so scary an the trail is so spooky it's dark am scary u donr know when or where they will pop up at they are so friendly but very scary at the same time like from begging to end my girl would not let go of me if I had a big enough pocket she would have been in it an pennywise the clown wow the look the sound an the scare I thought I was Georgie about to float with the rest of them an I seen wcw referre Charles Robinson come thru an he was so so amazed by the whole thing he comes every year an said it gets better am better hands down the best haunted trail in western north Carolina if u havent went u are missing out big time so trust me go there it is wonderful from beginning to end thank u

Pinheads is AWESOME

Great for a family outing during the spooky season! I’ve went to Pinhead’s Graveyard every year with my family for about five years and they never disappoint. Actors are amazing and they always find a way to do something different every year. And FREE parking, unlike other haunted attractions around the WNC areas. I will be visiting again for sure!

My friends and I took a fall girls’ trip to Asheville where a local guy told us about a haunted house we might enjoy. “Enjoy” is an understatement...it scared the crap out of us!! Seriously, best haunted house I’ve ever been to. The guy who played Pinhead was my favorite. He looked like he just walked right out of the film. This is my favorite haunt I have found in North or South Carolina. If you want an amazing time walking thru the woods of the North Carolina mountains and being terrorized by your favorite Horror movie villains then this is the place for you. Meet Michael, Freddy, Pinhead, Pennywise and many others. This place has been scaring for over 20 years and they have it down perfectly. Not only are they opened during the weekends during the Halloween season but also on select days during the week! A great way to beat the crowds! The staff is professional and so amazing. We go here every year and have for many years. We love this place. Even the kids love to go. They will adjust to the group if there are smaller kids and make it not so scary for them. It was definitely worth it!! My son absolutely loves it and talks about it every single year. It has made him not scared. But when it’s just the adults they step it up and definitely make it scarier!! We’ve even witnessed people peeing themselves on the trail!! Being so scared they didn’t want to go any further. Pinheads graveyard is the best in NC for a reason! The costumes are unmatched and as authentic as you will find in any haunted attraction. Hands down the best haunted attraction my family has ever experienced and we have been to them all. They are Very Professional and really know what people want in a haunted trail/house. Had a blast

Had a blast at the pinhead. It is habitual for me to visit haunts with friends during this time of the year. This was my first time here. I had my expectations high due to the reviews and the place did not disappoint. It was a scary atmosphere at the graveyard and the walk was exhilarating. The best were the actors. Dressed to kill with accurate make up and attire. Very easily they carried out scenes and scared the hell out of us. It was neatly presented and we loved it. Do not miss this.

Went this past weekend with a few of my friends. Pinheads Graveyard absolutely took my breath away with how true to your favorite horror movie classics it was. All the actors did absolutely amazing. Every single one of them was so into the character being portrayed it was unreal. If you go anywhere this October I definitely recommend them. I must have to say, Pinhead & The Devils Rejects cast were definitely my favorites. But all in all everyone was awesome no doubt. If you want a scary & fun night this is the place to go. I will definitely be going back when they have The Real Leather Face there as well.

I really enjoyed it there the setting was awesome being in the backwoods mountains and surrounded by woods and darkness everywhere I really didn't know how to feel about it lol but then the walk up to the entry made me feel like I was going on my last walk of life so to speak I absolutely loved the pinhead guy at the beginning as I went on through this haunt it became more of a intense feeling and had me wondering what was going to happen next I mean people coming out of the woodwork I was just like "WOW" as I went farther and farther into the woods and scene to scene I know I was getting my moneys worth but I can't tell u everything for I have to leave the reviewer's in suspense just know that this place is well worth the trip and the money

Taking a quick trip down to Canton I see a lit up sign called Pinheads Graveyard. I decided to take a quick trip and check it , I did not have to pay for parking. Waiting in line I hear people saying they visited before, and they come back every year or when they have a friend that has never been to a haunted Trail. This tells me that it's worth coming back to.Upon entering I am greeted by Pinhead his self. He explains that I should not be here, and it's my choice to survive.I can truly say I was scared, but I was excited at the same time. There were jump scares, flashing lights, Darkness, loud noises, and the characters themself from the horror movies. There were kids in our group but the characters is always been courteous enough to back off, and give them a high-five, so they know it's okay, and to know to come back. They don't want them to have a bad experience, yet they want them to have a fun one.For their roles they match the movies, they're funny or, they're terrifying. The group that I was in seem to be having fun, and really enjoyed the experience. By the time I left, I was thrilled and had a very big adrenaline rush, when I've been chased to my car. I would recommend Pinheads Graveyard to anyone that wants to experience all these things in a Haunted Trail.

We have been going to Pinheads for 4 years now, it gets better and better every year. If you want a heart pounding, adrenaline rush, look over your shoulder, scary good time.....Pinheads is the place to go. From the moment you walk up the hill to stand in line and start hearing the screams, your adrenaline starts going. Amazing scares

Great place to go the Michael myers was really scary,the maze was a real good touch didn't know what was happening and that clown from IT almost made me wet my pants loved the walking in the woods not knowing when and where someone was going to come out of the dark and the costumes are top notch there ain't no store bought and the knives and chainsaws are real and the price is great $20 and free parking will definitely go back 2 or 3 more times

Mind blowing

What an evening we got to spend at the graveyard. The location in itself was eerie. You really don’t visit a graveyard at night and that very thought will make you chilled. This was mind blowing. Beyond what we had expected and that made the visit well worth. The scared, actors, props and the animatronics all were used well to create awesome scenes. We were in for a surprise each time. Their year long experience speaks a lot. It is was visible to the way they managed crowd. They were never a shoddy moment. I loved it and we will return back.

Quite impressive

Visited Pinhead’s for a date night. Few of the scares really startled me. The actors’ performance was out of the world. Michel Myers was so freaking scary that I could not look at his face. Jeepers Creepers and Otis scared the crap out of us. The chainsaw guy chased us. Set design was creepy with great attention to details. If you have not been to Pinhead’s, you should go. The experience was impressive.

Don’t visit here with too much expectation.. it is an OK haunt with decent, if not great, scares.. the jeepers creepers did scare my niece.. but not me.. Jason had scary costumes, which was OK. I am not easily frightened..but Pinhead’s scares really got to me.. the trail uses atmospheric effects and has some dedicated characters.. the Jeepers Creepers was pretty scary. The chainsaw man really freaked me out. I went with my other friends and some of them jumped and screamed at most scares. The actors’ makeup was top-notch. Awesome haunted house! Perfect blend of outdoor and indoor haunts to rush the adrenaline to a new height. We purchased $ 20 general admission fee and spent around 90 minutes in the queue to get inside the horror zone. It started with a 1/2 mile of self guided walk through an open area and actors draped in the costumes of monsters were attacking from all corners. The best part was the haunted house as it wasn’t dependent on similar concept of banging and screaming. There were characters of horror movies like Freddy, Jason and many more, and this was an astounding event for us. Overall, A + show and a perfect example of classic horror and we really enjoyed every moment of it. Definitely worth a visit!!

Highly Recommended

We drove for 3 hours to visit this place and we are glad as this place met our expectations very well. It was fantastic, a 25 minute walk through an open area and a haunted house. The wait wasn’t too long and thanks, to all entertainers for keeping us engaged while standing in the queue. The trail was awesome with a correct imposition of atmospheric special effects. The actors were great as they displayed their skilled performance to scare us, without troubling us for a moment. The self guided tour was easy to navigate and finding characters of horror movies inside the house was astounding. Really loved the maze design, artefacts, layout, sound-track and special effects. Kudos to staffs for executing such a marvellous show. It’s a no-brainier! Just go for it. Highly recommended!!

This was one of the best haunted attractions I’d seen of late.. The sets, costumes, voices, skit.. it was all wonderful. Actors all did their jobs to perfection. The staff were friendly too..

Email Verified Freddy was a let-down

I and my son went to the haunt.. the leatherface had him running.. jeepers creepers was decent too even though I was not scared much.. Freddy was a let-down.. some of the actors’ makeup/costumes were not scary enough.. ticket rates were reasonable. You can visit this haunt once.. not more.

A Yearly Tradition

Where to begin?! I have never had a bad experience and this will be my 4th year. I drove over 2 hours from SC at least once a year. If you love horror films like nightmare on elm street or Halloween then you have to make this a stop. It has such an authentic feel to it and walking on a dark trail in the woods where anything can happen, it's hands down amazing! As if the attraction itself was not good enough the staff are very friendly and love what they do. This is my yearly tradition at least once a year if not more.
