What's new at Lake Hickory Haunts for 2024? Do you have any new rides, attractions, or special features that Haunt Seekers should know about?

BRAND NEW attractions at Lake Hickory Haunts 2024 include NATURE'S REVENGE and CHOP SHOP! In addition, we have expanded our VIP Lounge to include an overlook deck, overlooking the main attractions! We have also added a 50 foot bridge crossing over the water. In addition, we have made more improvements and added more surprise additions than EVER before! I can assure you, the expansions and improvements we've made this year are unlike anything you've seen before... and that's not an easy thing to say!

What are you most excited about for the 2024 Halloween Season?

This year we are celebrating 13 Years of Fear, and opening night is Friday, September 13th! We have many new experiences and technologies that we have not publicly released yet, so it's going to be a very special year!

What differentiates Lake Hickory Haunts from other local haunts in North Carolina?

Lake Hickory Haunts is different because we're a water front attraction, circling the lake. In addition, we feature underground elements, over-water elements, on the water elements, and multi-leveled attractions. You'll have to experience Lake Hickory Haunts yourself to see it for yourself!

How long has Lake Hickory Haunts been in business? Can you tell us a bit more about Lake Hickory Haunts's history?

This is Lake Hickory Haunts' 13th season. We have always worked to be on the cutting edge of innovation in the haunt industry, working to provide unique and never before seen experiences. This year, we're doing the same!

What's your favorite experience since opening Lake Hickory Haunts?

Seeing our fans enjoy Lake Hickory Haunts each and every Fall!

How long is a typical haunt experience at Lake Hickory Haunts from start to finish?

The main walkthrough varies from 45 minutes to one hour. Including the Midway of Mayhem, guests should plan for 1-2 hours at Lake Hickory Haunts during their visit

On a scale from 1 to 10, how scary would you say Lake Hickory Haunts is? Why?

A 7-8. We are not trying to be the scariest haunted attraction... Our goal is to be a family friendly haunted attraction, where ALL can come to have a fun-filled night of thrills and entertainment.

Does Lake Hickory Haunts's property have any real haunted history? Do you have a spooky encounter you'd like to share?

No

What inspired you to open up a haunted attraction? What's your favorite part of the business?

I enjoy creating immersive and inspiring environments, as well as telling Original stories that guests can experience for them self.

How has new technology (i.e. animatronics, special props, etc) helped you to enhance Lake Hickory Haunts?

In many ways of course! Technology has helped us bring our special FX and attractions to a whole other level themselves. Technology has also helped us with advertising, marketing, and hiring!

Can Lake Hickory Haunts accommodate large groups? How many people can experience Lake Hickory Haunts together as a group?

Lake Hickory Haunts can accommodate any group size. However, once entering the main attractions, guests may be split into groups as small as 6-10.

Does Lake Hickory Haunts offer any special deals, discounts, or coupons?

Yes, we offer a color coded calendar. Green nights are the lowest price, while Orange Nights are the highest price. In addition, orange nights include special guests, special live events, and more.
