It was very well acted/written. I wouldn’t take small children to it due to blood/depictions of a toxic relationship/dv between Dracula and Lucy, but if you’re a parent actually willing to explain and talk to them about it then go ahead. I think the bat sounds and voice effects added to Dracula’s screaming were a nice touch. The blood and sword fight were cool. As a fan of gore and blood I liked the addition. I also liked the character transition between human Lucy and Vampire Lucy and they felt like very different people, depicting the latter as almost animalistic and emotionally volatile. I don’t feel like it was queer enough for Dracula, but it was an overall good experience.
